******************************************************************************************************************************John McKissack's 1815 will refers to his daughter as Lucy Stewart. A John Stewart signed receipts for her share of John McKissack Sr's estate. There are many, many John Stewarts in Georgia at during this time period. Circumstantial evidence indicates that Lucy was the wife of John Stewart, however, and that this John was the son of William and Mary Penn Stewart who moved to Georgia from Virginia.

Loose paper in estate of John McKissack's 1815 estate in 1823 a "Stewart Penn" signed for John Stewart's (Lucy Stewart's) share of John McKissack's estate. We did not have time to research who or what "Stewart Penn" might be.

The book Gone to Georgia
lists a John Stewart as the son of William and Mary Penn Stewart, though there is no further informaton about John mentioned.
